The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.

**Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with the business to identify/validate key business assumptions and incorporate them into the forecast/budget
- Maintain and enhance forecasting and reporting models
- Support the preparation of forward-looking budget and forecast decks for presentation to senior management
- Tracking risks/opportunities, and analyzing specific spend areas
- Prepare monthly reporting package including meaningful variance analysis (forecast versus budget, previous forecasts and prior year)
- Analyze monthly results and understand business initiatives in order to prepare monthly commentary for review with senior management
- Be connected on results and industry trends to assess impact on short-term trajectory
- Liaising with business unit finance primes and controllers group
- Provide financial knowledge and represent Finance in various strategic projects

**Critical Qualifications**:

- A professional designation or working towards one (i.e., CPA) is required
- Strong working knowledge / expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills)
- Attention to detail and strong accounting acumen required
- Results-oriented with a drive to add value to the organization
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills - be inquisitive
- Demonstrated ability to create high quality presentations to management
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and see through to resolution
- Strong ability to partner with various cross-functional groups and management levels
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple deliverables
- Ability to drive results while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Telecom industry experience preferred
- Experience in SAP, BPC, SAS and BW (Business Warehouse) is an asset
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
