**Job Summary**

A busy, growing distribution company has a position for a warehouse person to receive inventory and ship to customers in BC and Alberta.

As a future manager the applicant must be neat and organized and responsible to work independently as well as with other members of our team.

Starting date for training is immediate.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Receive and confirm shipments from suppliers and be responsible for inventory levels and stock checks

Pick, pack and prepare product to be shipped to customers in BC and Alberta

Organize and maintain warehouse and warehouse supplies

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**

this is a physical job that requires lifting heavy boxes from one area to another in the warehouse.

a BC Driver's Licence is required to operate a small delivery van

**Benefits**

a 2 week training term and a 3 month probation period

Job Duties:

- Move and stack materials
- Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
- Rotate floor stock
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Use warehouse management software
- Receive/process shipments

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
