**The Job**

Our **Hospitality Coordinator **is responsible for leading our Daily Hospitality operations. This person leads our team of Service Associates, greeting and seating guests and delivering them an exceptional cider experience. The role is roughly half time working “shoulder to shoulder” with our front line Associates to host, bartend, plate food, bus, tidy up, etc, and half time on scheduling, managing reservations, planning seasonally-inspired beverage menus, and collaborating with our other Unit Leaders to ensure that Daily Hospitality operations sync with other departments. The **Hospitality Coordinator **is a member of our Unit Leadership Team, working closely with our other Unit Leaders; in particular, our Chef, Banquet Captain, and Marketing Specialist.

The proposed work week is **10am to 6pm, Wednesday through Sunday**, and the annual target compensation is up to **$59,000**, including a base salary of **$45,000**, a share of pooled gratuities, and a year end bonus for meeting specific targets.

**About You**

You excel at food & beverage service and fostering a positive team culture. As a people person, you have an impressive leadership record in the service industry and understand that customer satisfaction and a cohesive, supportive team are paramount. In addition you have:

- Education: Serving It Right required; FoodSafe preferred. Post secondary degree or diploma in related field preferred.
- Vocational experience: at least three years as a Service manager, Front of House manager, Bar Manager, Event manager, or similar position required.
- Industry experience: At least five years of experience in hospitality or the food & beverage sector required.
- People management: At least two years of experience in scheduling, supervising and training colleagues. A keen desire to develop further skills in recruitment, performance review, and creating a positive team culture.
- Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills, a gift for diplomacy, and a proven track record in problem solving, resolving customer complaints successfully, and avoiding complaints in the first place
- Project management: managing a timeline and project deliverables - an asset.
- Financial management: experience managing labour and supply budgets, and a willingness to learn more financial management skills.
- Technology & equipment: Proficiency using common industry software, and an eagerness to learn new programs. Experience with standard food & beverage service equipment
- Personal aptitude: a high degree of professionalism and personal accountability for achieving targets. Curiosity, great listening skills and an openness to feedback. A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done and collaborate with colleagues. An interest in learning about cider
- Work week available: Able to work full time hours year round. Willing to work occasional evenings to meet the needs of the business per Sea Cider’s lieu time policy.
- Physical ability: Able to lift up to 25 kg several times daily (cases of cider, stacks of chairs, for example) and to work walking and standing up, indoors and outdoors, rain or shine, for hours at a time.
- Health & safety: Up to date communicable disease vaccinations required, including for COVID
- Continuous improvement: A desire to work for a business that is growing and seeking to continually improve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $59,000.00 per year
