Suppression Technician

**Westman Fire Protection is expanding their Fire Suppression division and is seeking a Technician that is engaged in expanding the Fire Suppression industry. Westman Fire Protection is an authorized Ansul Suppression Distributor, looking to add a Suppression Technician to our team.**

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Fire Alarm Manager, this role is responsible for inspections, installations and repairs to fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers and hood cleaning as required by local and national fire codes.

Position Responsibilities:

- Perform and complete service orders for inspections, installations, repairs and product support
- Design, quote, install and inspect kitchen suppression systems
- Inspection, maintenance, recharging and hydro-testing of fire extinguishers to NFPA10 code
- Inspection and servicing of kitchen hoods and exhaust fans
- Available for emergency call-outs
- Able to work independently
- Willing to travel as directed

Position Requirements:

- Suppression certification
- NFPA 10 extinguisher certification
- Class 5 license
