This is a full-time (night-shift) position from Mon-Fri.
- Responsibilities:_
- Coordinate and supervise the production team, ensuring that work is completed according to schedule and quality standards
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress to ensure that production targets are met
- Provide guidance and training to team members as needed, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, and coordinate with the purchaser/stager to ensure that adequate supplies are available
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order, and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures and ensure that all team members are trained in safety procedures
- Work with management to develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain records of production activities and team performance as required
- Qualifications_
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in woodworking, millwork, or a related field is an asset.
- 5-7 years of experience in a millwork production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to safety and quality, with a demonstrated track record of promoting and enforcing safety protocols and quality standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
