Night Auditor

Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room keys
- Ability to stand or walk for much of the work shift and move at a speed that is required to respond to work situations (i.e., run, walk, jog).
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
- Take, cancel and change room reservations
- Process charges on guest folios
- Check guests in and out of hotel
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Provide information to guests on local attractions and dining options.
- Customer service-oriented work with mínimal supervision
- Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying) Reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, communication, working with others and problem solving
- Decision making, critical thinking job task planning and organizing
- Multi tasking in a busy environment
- Excellent English comprehension and communication skills
- Professional demeanor and guest service orientated.
