**Forklift Operator Position**

Our Elmsdale treating facility plays a vital role in Goodfellow’s success in Atlantic Canada. As a Forklift Operator, you’ll work alongside treatment plant operators to load and unload cylinders and transports while keeping our lumber yard organized.

- Previous forklift experience (an asset)
- Experience in a lumber yard or building materials environment (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Physical capability to perform the job duties
- Availability for overtime

**Your Role**:

- Operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently within our warehouse facility
- Complete regular safety checklists and duty reports for forklift operations
- Report mechanical issues or other concerns promptly through inspection reports
- Follow proper procedures for order picking using an electronic scanner, managing returns, and identifying damaged goods
- Collaborate with logistics, treatment operators, and sales teams
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse and production areas

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
