Acoustical & Total Cleaning Services Co. is looking for new janitorial staff for the _Rural Operations Building_. Acoustical is a diversified cleaning company that has been operating since 1983. **Duties include**:
Daily: Common Areas

1. Sweep and damp mop all hard surfaced flooring in entrances, lobbies, stairs, washrooms, kitchens, fitness center and reception areas.

2. Collect all refuse daily and dispose to refuse container. Kitchen, washrooms and coffee serving stations must have all refuse bags replaced daily.

3. All reception desks, kiosks and serving desks - clean and disinfect countertops and clean front face of reception/serving desks, kiosks, and glass.

4. Spot clean interior glass throughout building

5. Clean and disinfect all door handles, push plates, and light switches, elevators and push button surfaces.

6. Clean kitchen and coffee station countertops, sinks, faucets, tables, chairs, hanging light fixtures, all cabinet door and drawer pulls disinfected. Ensure all appliances are turned off.

7. In kitchens, clean all appliances outside, microwaves in and out, and range hoods as needed. Mop and disinfect floor. Dishwasher to be loaded with dirty dishes and turned on 12. Paper towel dispenser to be filled.

8. Washroom toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, mirrors, faucets, countertops, door handles, handrails and handles to be cleaned and disinfected. Sanitary napkin dispensers to be emptied and bag replaced.

9. Washroom soap dispensers, toilet paper and hand towel paper dispensers to be filled, cleaned and disinfected. Batteries changed when necessary in paper and soap dispensers.

10. Spray air deodorizer to be replaced when empty for each washroom.

11. Clean and sanitize drinking water fountains.

12. Boardrooms, meeting rooms, public areas, and library tabletops to be cleaned and disinfected.

Weekly: Meeting Rooms/Boardrooms/Offices

1. Replace all used refuse bags in all refuse receptacles.

2. Dust and wipe all boardroom/meeting room: tables, chairs, chair legs and computer monitor screens.

3. Dust all workstation desk tops, office furniture, office chairs, office chair legs, and computer monitor screens.

4. Spot clean all interior walls, baseboards and partitions to remove fingerprints and scuffs as required.

5. Clean all glass in main lobby areas, feature windows and both sides of entrance doors glass.

6. Clean and disinfect all door handles, push plates and light switches.

7. Clean all glass on office furniture partitions.

8. All office chair mats to be damp mopped.

9. Wipe down and dust equipment and copy room tables.

10. Dust equipment and storage cabinets located in equipment and copy rooms.

11. Vacuum and spot clean all carpeted areas.

12. Clean all surfaces of washroom wall partitions, especially at urinals.

Monthly:
1. Clean and disinfect all waste containers in and out.

2. Clean filter screens inside dishwashers.

3. Dusting of all door and window frames, windowsills, tops of cabinets and wall mounted light fixtures.

4. Dusting and cleaning of exterior of all fire hose cabinets.

5. Vacuum all lounge/club chairs thoroughly

6. Replace fragrance can in all atomizer mist dispensers.

7. Dusting of all door and window frames, windowsills, tops of cabinets (high dusting).

8. Clean and disinfect all waste containers in and out.

9. Clean and disinfect handles on first aid kits.

10. Dusting and cleaning of exterior of all fire hose cabinets.

11. Leather chairs to be cleaned with proper leather cleaner.

12. Burnishing of wax floors required in all applicable areas of the facility

13. Clean trash collection bin and area at exterior of building as required.

**Other duties**
- tracking inventory
- supply ordering
- monitoring the communications book
- responding to complaints
- filling appropriate safety paperwork

Clear criminal record check may be required.

Wage to be negotiated upon job offer

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
