The LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies is recruiting full-time **Health, Safety and Environment Administrator **to join its operations and maintenance team in **Yorkton, SK**.
**Job Summary**
- The _*_HSE Administrator_*_ will provide administrative support to LAPRAIRIE’s Field HSE Representatives and HSE Coordinators in Tumbler Ridge, BC, Fort St. John BC, Grande Prairie, AB & Grimshaw, AB._
- The HSE Administrator will work in partnership with company employees and other stakeholders to identify and minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries to maintain a safe working environment and meet statutory and contractual requirements._
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
- Administration and development of safety communications.
- Update and maintain electronic SDS sheets.
- Assist revising formal hazard assessments and Safety Documentation.
- Monitoring and documenting incident reports, Audits and HSE meeting minutes.
- Responsible for implementation, tracking and maintenance of HSE files in shared HSE folders and booking HSE training for employees.
- Review and manage HSE legislative requirements and ensure compliance is maintained.
- Send out and review subcontractor pre-qualifications for specific locations.
- Assist in safety program development, implementation, and continuous improvement with existing policies and procedures.
- Order PPE and other HSE supplies for locations as needed.
- Willing to complete company-provided training to become a certified auditor with Energy Safety Canada and Alberta Construction Safety Association.
**Qualifications**:
- Mid-level administrative experience.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Timely and accurate data entry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time-management capabilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Maturity and discretion when dealing with confidential information and sensitive inquiries.
- An enthusiastic, positive outlook and willingness to learn.
- COR auditor certification with Energy Safety Canada and/or the Alberta Construction Safety Association is an asset.
- Previous HSE work experience is an asset.
- Experience in writing policies and procedures is an asset.
- Experience in working with a Safety Management System is an asset.
- Working towards certification in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent work experience is an asset.
