As a Class AR CDL Driver, you'll play a crucial role in our operations by delivering equipment safely, efficiently, and courteously. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **_Equipment Delivery & Pickup:_** Safely drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
- **_Vehicle Operation:_** Operate compact construction equipment and trailers in compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
- **_Safety Compliance:_** Adhere to all safety regulations, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Ontario's Ministry of Transportation (MTO) guidelines.
- **_Documentation:_** Maintain accurate driver logs, complete pre-trip inspections, and manage daily paperwork related to vehicle operation.
- **_Customer Service:_** Serve as a company ambassador by providing exceptional service to customers and suggesting equipment and supplies that meet their needs.
- **_Vehicle Maintenance:_** Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- **_Additional Duties:_** Carry out other tasks as assigned, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles.

**Requirements**:

- **_Valid License:_** Class AR CDL with a clean driving record (abstract must be current within 30 days).
- **_Experience:_** Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a 5-ton truck or larger, with at least 2 years of MTO-regulated commercial driving experience.
- **_Education:_** High School Diploma or equivalent.
- **_Skills:_** Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving practices.
- **_Safety Focused:_** Diligent attention to safety in all aspects of the job.
- **_Additional Requirements:_** Must provide insurance letters from previous employers and pass a clean criminal background check.

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks. Occasional Saturday work may be required.

**Work Environment**: This position is in-person, with responsibilities involving both yard work and delivery driving.
