The University Endowment Lands (UEL) is an unincorporated area located between the City of Vancouver and the University of British Columbia, with a population of approximately 4,000 residents. The UEL operates under the authority of the University Endowment Land Act, and the UEL Manager is appointed by the Minister under Section 15(1) of the UEL Act to administer the University Endowment Lands.

**Job Requirements**:

- University degree in Land Use Planning or equivalent OR diploma from a recognized institution in architectural, building technology, planning or equivalent.Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

- Two (2) or more years of experience in a local government setting.
- Experience reviewing or developing land use bylaws. Qualified as a member, in good standing, or with ability to become a member within six months, of a recognized BC planning, architectural or building association, such as Planning Institute of BC, Architectural Institute of British Columbia or Building Officials Association of BC.PROVISOS

BC Driver’s license is required.**About this Position**:
