**Job Overview**:
Reporting to the Construction Manager, as the Residential Journeyman & Installation Team Lead, you will lead the install team and be responsible for all onsite aspects of Residential solar installations. This includes the completion of electrical work, rooftop system installation, and the team’s safety. You’ll also be responsible for keeping the team on schedule, on budget and meeting KCP Energy’s highest standards of quality.

**Duties**
- **Safety - **Ensure the safety of the entire install team and the worksite.
- **Oversight - **Ensure the installation team represents KCP Energy to the customer, contractors, subcontractors in a professional manner.
- **On site project Management
- **Be on site to resolve all installation issues and address all questions and issues that may occur.
- **Project budget - **Review budgeted hours and manage projects to make sure the hours are met or better.
- **Pre project preparations - **Confirm that all materials are available and will bring all materials to site.
- **Communication - **Ensure ongoing communication with the Project Manager.
- **On site progress - **Create daily plans throughout the project, and communicate it to the team. Ensure all materials that are needed have been brought to site.

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for someone who is/has
- A Valid Red Seal Electrical Certificate.
- Experience with solar installations.
- Likes being up on a sloped roof, in all kinds of weather (assuming it’s safe to do so)
- Experience leading a team and the ability to motivate others.
- An intelligent, self-motivated person with a great work ethic.
- The ability to lift 50lbs or more throughout the day.
- A minimum of 2 years of Residential Electric experience.
- Experienced at and certified for working at heights.
- A valid Driver's license and a clean driver’s abstract
- The following training: Fall protection, Aerial platform, CSTS, WHMIS.
- Experience with Distribution, Power systems and Service.
- Solar Installation Certificate (NABCEP or equivalent).
- ACSA training (LSE, LEG, PHSM, ATP).
- Excellent organizations and planning skills.
- Customers Service skills
