Shuttle Driver

Overview:
The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our 24 passenger bus, and 15 passenger van. As a member of our transportation team, the drivers are often the first point of contact for our clients who utilize our complimentary shuttle service, to and from our resort. Additional duties may include assisting our marketing and promotional departments in transporting personnel, equipment, and/or luggage for acts and artists scheduled at The Venue.
**Responsibilities**:
**TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS**:
- Safe operation of resort vehicles; in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances
- Operate shuttle within pre-determined routes and schedules for guest/associate pickup and drop off.
- Assessment and documentation of any vehicle damage or required maintenance prior to or during shift
- Changing schedule based on shuttle and other assigned requirements
- Transportation of personnel, equipment, or luggage as required
- To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned
**CUSTOMER SERVICE**:
- Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction, for guests and staff
- Assist guests in and out of the vehicle as required
- Participate in executing Resort promotions.
- Ensure strict adherence to pre-determined schedules and timings
- To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid class 1, 2 or 4 Alberta Driver's License
- Clear drivers abstract
- High School diploma
- Dynamic and outgoing personality
- Great customer attention skills
- Strong organizational skills- The Shuttle driver will work in a challenging fast paced environment where effective decision making is a priority. The shuttle driver will also be required to drive and work in all types of weather conditions.
The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
