Production Scheduler

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Monitor customer EDI daily and adjust schedules accordingly
- Create production schedules from customer demand
- Communicate with Customers and Suppliers on a daily basis to ensure parts/good availability while keeping inventory within pre-defined levels
- Facilitate and manage scheduling matters within Materials department
- Provide daily/weekly manpower requirements to production and HR to obtain necessary headcount to perform desired schedules
- Measure capacity utilization and analyze future demand to identify production constraints
- Monitor daily production to the production schedule and escalate gaps
- Identify production constraints impacting customer deliveries
- Active APQP Process
- Coordinate material planning for new model launches
- Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Possess 7-10 years of supervisory or related experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.
- Post secondary education in business administration is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizing, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Track record for training and mentoring team members
- Ability to find information, document relevant information and knowledge of computers

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of TS16949 Requirements
- ACICS Certification
