Janitor/cleaner

Axis Tool & Gauge Inc in Cambridge, ON is a dynamic and growing Company specializing in the design and build of Inspection Fixtures for the Automotive Industry.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Janitor/ Cleaner

**Duties**:

- Clean and maintain the cleanliness of the assigned areas, including offices, bathrooms, lunchroom, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- General Machine cleaning and Maintenance
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

Forklift license, valid Drivers License and Machine Shop Experience definitely an asset

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
