The Construction Solutions team in our **North American Headquarters (Edmonton, AB) **is currently seeking a critical thinking **Business Systems Analyst **to help our construction teams adopt technology to be more effective and efficient. Through building strong relationships with stakeholders and data analysis, you will identify opportunities to improve awareness of software solutions through communication, documentation, and training as well as proposing system and process improvements.

Here's how a Business Systems Analyst for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Analyzes technical documents and development specifications to understand the software solution.
- Develops the documentation structure for identified audiences.
- Creates end user facing documentation in a test environment, using technical authoring tool (e.g. ClickLearn)
- Suggests best practices and optimizations throughout content generation projects.
- Collaborates with fellow technical communicators and business analysts.
- Uses established company brand voice and messaging for written pieces.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation.
- Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of two years of experience in technical writing.
- Attention to detail.
- Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
- Experience with both print and digital media formats.
