PACE Technical is made up of a group of innovative professionals dedicated to delivering quality IT Services to small and mid-sized businesses in the GTA. We’re now looking for our newest member of our team, a Cloud Lead to support our Cloud Services team.

As our Cloud Lead, you’ll be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, administering, and supporting all PACE cloud computing solutions. This is a hands-on role whereby you will be responsible for implementing new systems and technology solutions.

Practically speaking, here’s what you’ll do
- Design and configure infrastructures for both PACE and our clients
- Implement, maintain and support PACE’s Cloud systems (e.g., capacity planning, system and security management, disaster recovery and risk mitigation, etc.)
- Conduct research relevant to current projects and security tools and best practices
- Prepare project plans and manage projects to completion in a timely manner
- Prepare and manage Statements of Work
- Onboard clients to PACE’s Cloud systems (Citrix, Remote Desktop Services, Azure, Active Directory, etc.)
- Evaluate and document client IT requirements
- Document policies and procedures
- Train applicable stakeholders regarding different technologies and processes
- Provide support to other technical employees (i.e., Service Desk, Professional Services and Centralized Services) as required
- Participate in after-hours on call and/or on call escalation rotations as assigned
- Attend regular internal/external meetings
- All other duties as assigned by the Cloud Manager

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Cloud Computing, Computer Science, and Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years’ experience and competency with Managed Service Provider software and apps
- 2-3 years’ experience and competency with networking (firewalls, switching/routing, VLANs)
- 2-3 years’ experience and competency with VMware vSphere
- Extensive experience and competency with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, ADC, MCS, PVS
- Experience with FSLogix, User Profile Disk, Citrix Profile and Citrix Cloud
- Extensive experience with core Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory)
- Experience with Legal Applications (e.g., PCLAW, Worlddox) is an asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Professional, proactive, and personable telephone etiquette
- Ability to adapt and respond to challenging situations, different personality types, and difficult client inquiries
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Ability to solve problems independently, effectively and efficiently
- Ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities effectively and work under tight deadlines
- Strong team player spirit is a must

**The Details**

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a salary range of $90,000 per year and up, depending on your experience. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, during standard business hours. This is a hybrid position, meaning you will be required to work in our Markham office as needed, but can also work remotely.

A strong, reliable internet connection and access to a car are a must. We have regular virtual meetings through MS Teams, to ensure that our team is always connected and working together.
