Experienced Lineman

**Experienced Lineman Requirements**

Location: Kawartha/Muskoka

Minimum 3 years of experience in field

Pole climbing experience

D/Z license preferred

Problem solver

Reliable

Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a team

Lift heavy materials (approx 80lbs)

Able to complete the necessary training for working at heights and confined space, pass the corresponding examinations

**Responsibilities**

Read and interpret blueprints or job specifications to execute all work assigned safely and in accordance to health and safety policy

Work outdoors in various conditions to place fibre optic telecommunication cables

Climb poles, ladders and a variety of construction equipment to assist in the installation of telecommunication cables and apparatus

String cables between structures, from poles, towers, or trenches and ensure that all are to proper tension

Clean and maintain tools and equipment

Accurately record and report project progress to the appropriate supervisory person and communicate any issues or expected delays

Performs other duties as required

**Offer**

Full-time hours with potential for overtime

Competitive wage based off experience 25-40$ per hour
