Landscape Professional

We are looking to fill a full-time position beginning in the spring season. This position involves all aspects of landscaping labour and snow removal. The position is expected to transition to winter duties next year.
- Experience building hardscape installations such as block wall, stone walls, paving stone pathways, driveways, patios and retaining walls (stone or pressure treated lumber).
- Site preparation and demolition experience.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as skid steer, plate tamper, front end loader / backhoe, mini excavator and/or cutoff saw.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and adhere to plans and direction regarding labour and material allotments.
- Tool operating experience including laser levels, shoot grades and grade sites.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A valid class G license with a clean driving record is mandatory. Truck and trailer experience is considered an asset.
- Communication skills, including the ability to professionally represent Simply Superior Contracting when engaging with customers and members of the general public.
- Ability to perform work tasks while complying with workplace health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and organized job site.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment - communicating respectfully with all members of the team.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to try.

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
