**Position Summary**

This individual will work in an extremely fast‑paced environment as part of a dynamic team including customers, suppliers, labour teams, sales personnel and internal staff. You will be responsible for the accurate project estimation and tendering of commercial and residential flooring and tiling projects.

We are willing to train the right individual with the required skills and competencies, interested in learning the industry.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Reviewing plans & specifications to determine the scope of work and to define project requirements
- Understanding design intent and identifying challenging items and solutions
- Performing electronic quantity take-offs for all labour, equipment, materials, and contractors to complete the project to specifications
- Seeking out competitive pricing from suppliers and appropriate sub-trades, as needed
- Tendering contracts from consultants, sub-trades & suppliers
- Outlining and proactively communicating project requirements and timelines and addresses any concerns
- Finalizing contracts that meet client requirements
- Working with the Project/Sales Teams to map out the project timeline and critical path schedule
- Preparing construction agreement(s), schedules & budgets

**Required Education, Knowledge and Experience**
- Degree from Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or Business discipline (recommended)
- English, strong business written and verbal proficiency
- No previous experience required

**Salary**: $40,000.00 per year
