Here at Mississippi Veterinary Services we are a busy small town mixed animal practice with our focus on treating patients as if they were our own Our Veterinary Assistant works independently or alongside the Veterinarians and Technicians to ensure quality of care to our patients, positive experience for our clients and to support the growth and vision of the clinic.

Our Veterinary Assistant assists the Veterinarian and Technicians with patient care and treatment, monitor hospitalized patients, take charge on husbandry protocols, follow proper health and safety standards, assist in animal restraint and ensure each pet has a happy healthy stay

Full-time hours: 32 hours/week.
- We strongly believe in a work-life balance and do our best to support this. You can expect 8-hour shifts spanning over a 4-day workweek with a Saturday rotation.

Experience: Veterinary experience (preferred)

Diploma: Veterinary Assistant (preferred)
