**Developing and executing Indirect-Materials and Services Procurement strategies**:

- Developing a category management process by segmenting indirect spends into areas which contain similar or related characteristics, enabling focus opportunities for consolidation and efficiency among our plants
- Identifying synergies for indirect materials and services among Nature’s path plants to enable better costs
- Leading RFPs for key categories
- Leading Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives with top tier vendors
- Developing a Raw Material strategy roadmap to deliver key corporate sustainability objectives

**Supporting the business in making better decisions by**:

- Conducting market research and data analysis from all available sources and synthetizes information into successful decision-making
- Recommending best suppliers available in the market aligned to Nature’s Path’s goals, mission, and values
- Working closely with key stakeholders (plants) on drafting and executing key contracts (leading the negotiation of contract terms and conditions)
- Develops and supports key metrics KPIs for tracking and improving vendor’s performance
- Searching for cost improvements based on supplier efficiency, use of alternate materials, leveraging purchasing power

**Providing effective Raw Material Procurement support for New Innovation Projects by**
- Working closely with the Product and Innovation teams by providing expertise on raw material procurement solutions for new products
- Discussing raw material options with various stakeholders such as Buyers, Operations, R&D, QA, Sales
- Supporting global strategic sourcing initiatives or New Innovation Projects (including category strategy definition)
- Advising management of lead times and prices required to obtain critical materials to be used for trials and first productions

**Education**
- Graduation with specialization in Materials Management, Procurement, or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working within Food Industry is preferred

This role is a remote opportunity based out of Canada with travel to our offices/plants as needed. The base salary range is $73,800 - $98,400 with a 10% bonus. Thank you for your interest in Natures Path
