**Our expectations**:
Reporting to the Demand & Allocation Manager and collaborating with various business partners, the Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible to issue, analyze, adjust and maintain sales forecasts for product categories under his/her responsability.

**Your role**:

- Participate in the planning, and execution of marketing strategies for the categories under their responsibility
- Issue, analyze, adjust, and maintain sales forecasts for products under their responsibility using JDA Demand software
- Prepare promo forecasts for the product category under their responsibility
- Ensure excellent collaboration between business partners in charge of merchandising, as well as Category Inventory Analysts.
- Coordinate various activities with stakeholders
- Analyze and monitor performance indicators (sales forecasting accuracy, turnover rate, inventory budget,
- dashboard, product status, etc.)
- Participate in a collaborative sales, inventory, and procurement review and planning cycle (S&OP/CPFR)

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations research, operations management, engineering, statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years’ related experience in demand planning, sales forecasts and inventory management
- Strong ability to analyze data and make recommendations
- Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and Access (knowledge of JDA is an asset)
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Organizational skills, thoroughness, self-direction, drive, and attention to detail
- Well-developed business acumen and sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the retail and/or distribution sector (an asset)
