YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a strategic business partner in OHS for internal stakeholders: supervisory teams, managers, project managers, industrial engineering technicians, safety representatives and CRT.
Advise and support teams in planning safety activities and in the daily implementation of the OHS program.
Participate in workshops and development committees related to projects: determination of ergonomic standards, risk analysis of new equipment, support for the launch of the new assembly plant.
Develop, plan and implement safety projects for factory work teams, with measurement tools.
Develop and implement a program for TMS prevention in the factory and for ergonomics in the offices:
Include kinesiologists in the teams upstream, in order to establish criteria for lower-risk design
Establish clear processes for managing discomfort within the teams
Complete an ergonomic analysis of workstations (preventive or related to restrictions)
Run appropriate training sessions (integration of new employees, TMS, manual handling)
Evaluate office workstations, integration of micro-breaks and collaboration with the IT and buildings teams on the criteria and purchase of ergonomic equipment
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, human resources or any other health and safety-related discipline and at least two to five years of relevant experience
Health and safety certificate, an advantage
Functional bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, with Spanish an advantage
Excellent command of advanced features of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and good knowledge of the Google suite
A rigorous approach and a good sense of initiative and analysis
Good management of priorities and an ability to manage tight deadlines
Ability to work independently in a constantly changing environment
Willingness to undertake and complete projects
