**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate drilling rigs and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Monitor drilling parameters and make adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with team members to plan drilling operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including depth, time and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies and procedures during operations.
- Assist in the transportation of equipment using mid sized trucks/trailers and commercial vehicles as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.

**Requirements**:

- Valid G driver's license required.
- Clean Drivers Abstract.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

**Assets**
- Knowledge and understanding in a mechanical setting.
- Experience in the water well drilling industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with welding.
- DZ license is an advantage, but can be obtained upon hire. Haliburton Artesian Well Drillers will provide you with training and licensing.
- Experience operating Hiab Cranes.
- Experience operating Excavators.

Rate of pay is flexible and dependent on job experience and knowledge.
