**Job Description**:
This person is responsible for coordinating health and safety and quality related activities within the organization with a strong emphasis on driving the company towards consistent performance in all locations. Travel within Canada will be required, including office and site visits, as well as occasional travel to other locations.

This role works independently with a great deal of autonomy and requires a safety and quality professional with a strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for both. This position will report to the Country Leader and work closely with the local Operations Manager(s) and HR, as well as regional and global HSE/Quality team members.

**Specific Job Functions**:
Health, Safety, and Environment
- Strive to maintain the safety-focused culture in the company with a focus on continual improvement
- Responsible for highlighting any health, safety, environment or energy concerns and opportunities for improvement to the Operations Manager for follow up and possible action
- Be the focal point of corporate and external audits (eg COR, ISO) for Canada with the goal of continuous improvement on performance
- Respond in a timely manner to customer requests for company HSE data and have primary responsibility for vendor qualification systems

Quality
- Manage all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) across Canada
- Manage all aspects of the ISO program including leading the audit process, and support all other internal/external audits as needed. Act as a role model for the drive for improvement through continuous learning and training, and through adherence to and promotion of all quality procedures
- Implement Lean systems and processes, supporting corporate initiatives and working closely with the North America Lean leaders

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years working in an independent HSE & Quality role
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of HSE & Quality regulations and best practices, including COR, ISO and relevant provincial safety legislation
- Professional safety designation preferred; NCSO or CRSP, HSE diploma/certificate preferred
