**Job summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct diagnostic tests on heavy equipment to identify issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace defective parts as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide maintenance recommendations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical degree or certification in heavy equipment/truck mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
