**Company Description**:
We provide a variety of services to manage large scale facilities. A significant fleet of equipment is maintained at each facility. Services include but are not limited to; all landscaping and construction maintenance, asphalt repair, exterior building services, and snow management.

This position is full-time year-round. This person is required to be punctual with own mode of transportation, can easily follow instructions and has a working knowledge of, and experience in facilities services, landscape projects, landscape maintenance, snow services, asphalt and concrete projects. These all must be performed with a thorough understanding of safety in the workplace. The position reports directly to the Site Lead and/or Operations Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
Job duties include, but are not limited to:

- Availability - must be available and responsive during and after snow and ice events.
- Landscaping maintenance - mowing, trimming, edging, bed work, etc.
- Site Cleaning - litter pick up and disposal.
- Snow Removal - Skid Steer, Loader, small tractors, shoveling, salting, hazard assessment.
- Construction maintenance - asphalt, concrete work, line painting, machine work.
- Safety - tailgate talks, circle checks and hazard assessments, etc.
- Equipment Maintenance - cleaning, greasing, minor repairs, appearance repairs, etc.
- Travel - infrequent, project or weather based.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and a clean abstract is required.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in the landscape/snow industry required.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience operating landscape and construction equipment.
- Loader/Skid steer experience is an asset.
- Machine maintenance experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team members.
- Safety awareness of both employees and equipment.
- Certificates in First Aid, WHMIS and Fall Arrest is an asset.

**Compensation**:
Pay rate is based on experience, availability, and health and safety certifications and training.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Loader/Tractor/Skid Steer: 1 year (preferred)
- Landscape/Snow Removal: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
