**Location**:
This full-time position is a hybrid position that will serve as a multi-purpose delivery driver for all of our locations.

Delivery & warehouse associate

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of purchased items to our customers.
- Delivery of appliances, furniture & lighting to construction sites.
- Delivery of building materials & hardware to residential and commercial properties.
- Loading and delivery of appliances, furniture & lighting.
- Loading of building materials & hardware.
- Ensure inventory and delivery processes are followed as per policies.
- Maintain and promote safe practices.
- Manage customer relationships on site.
- Shipment receiving, assembly and general warehouse duties as required by the daily task list
- Customer service-related duties to assist the showroom team with their day-to-day duties
- Other duties as per manager’s request.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is an asset).
- Clean drivers abstract.
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Previous delivery experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, and delivery personnel.
- Customer service related experience is an asset
- Ability to read and comprehend written and printed materials.
- Must be physically fit to handle building materials
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Dependable with a focus on safety
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of furniture & lighting industry is an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be able to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds from the receiving area to the warehouse and place it on shelves.

**Working relationships**
- Reports directly to Logistics Development Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
