Shift: 4 Days On Followed by 4 Days Off - 12hr shifts (Rotating Shifts) Between 1200 - 2400
ABOUT US
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promptly respond to dispatch for service calls, jump-starts, accident recovery, unlocks, and more.
- Liaise with emergency personnel, Police, Fire, and Bylaw.
- Safely and promptly respond to emergency roadside dispatch requests.
- Liaise with retail clients and repair shops; patrol lots between dispatch calls.
- Work closely with the management team to achieve goals set out for each driver.
- Ensure equipment is maintained, serviced regularly, and updated documentation, i.e., driver’s log and vehicle maintenance records.
- Provide professional and courteous service to the general public.
- Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
- Work collaboratively with other drivers in complex and dangerous situations.
- Responsible for loading and securing vehicles using wheel straps safety chains. Demonstrate knowledge and use of winch lines, snatch blocks, ratchet straps, binders, and various tie-down methods.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Close collaboration with management and dispatch teams.
- Excellent communication skills (English).
- Demonstration of good interpersonal, diplomacy, and judgement skills.
- Leadership ability and soft skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A clean driver’s record.
- A clean criminal record.
- Experience in the towing industry would be considered an asset.
- Experience in automotive education would be considered an asset.
- Occasionally on call during weekends, nights and holidays.
COMPENSATION
- Minimum $235.00 to $275.00 per shift
- Or 30% commission-based pay.
- $200, $400 and $600 Safety Bonus.
- Medical & Dental coverage.
**Salary**: $220.00-$275.00 per day
