Construction Labourer

Edmonton, Canada The Curbinator Inc Full time

**Curbinator is actively seeking skilled Labourer and Gradespersons to join our growing team.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in pre-worksite setup and post-worksite cleanup
- Regularly assist heavy duty equipment operators, foremen and site supervisors.
- Safely direct traffic on or near worksites..
- Regularly check, maintain, and clean all company equipment.
- Use various heavy-duty equipment safely and efficiently, such as jump jacks, plate tampers, packers, rock trucks etc.
- Assist in gravel and or water and sewer pipe preparation and installation.
- Perform all other medium to heavy duty labour requirements (ie. Shoveling, raking, sweeping, carrying loads etc.)
- Fill out and hand-in daily logs, safety assessments, and time sheets.

**Skills**:

- Have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and possess a willingness to learn.
- Able to always communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
- Can easily understand and follow directions from others.
- Be able to work in a physically demanding environment, mainly outside with exposure to various weather conditions.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years’ experience in construction industry.
- Valid Drivers license and own transportation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
