Experienced Painters Wanted

We are a small but busy painting company in the GTA. Work is year round and we specialize in custom homes and re-paints. All residential work with quality workmanship. Most work in Toronto, Mississauga, Scarborough. Tasks include all preparation work as necessary and proper painting. Spray painting required. We use good quality materials. If you have 5-10 years experience, have your own transportation and tools.

Preparing and cleaning exterior surfaces using methods such as washing, scraping, sanding and priming.

Room to advance to a crew foreman or production manager during the current season.

Previous painting experience is an asset, but not required.

Labour experience (landscaping, warehouse work. heavy equipment work, etc.) and athletics are also considered assets.

Training will be provided to all successful applicants to teach company policy, the tricks and techniques used in the painting industry, as well as jobsite safety procedures.

Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping and sanding.

Mixes, matches, and blends various paints, enamels, acrylics and special protective coatings to achieve the desired colour, consistency, and drying properties.

Drywall and steel patching.

Paints using a brush, roller, spray gun or other applicators.

Driver's license and car would be an asset.

Must have painted for at least 10 years + in the trade - residential or commercial

100% dedicated to making the job a quality one and take ownership of their work

Location is Toronto and the GTA area

MUST have car and your own tools

Full time work = 5 days per week with optional Saturday; and the option to work 50 weeks/year

Must have a smartphone and basic computer skills since that’s how we dispatch our orders

Must have general manners and be pleasant with customers

Self starter and needs mínimal supervision

Must pass a criminal background check

Mixes, matches, and blends various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains and special protective coatings to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties. Caulks, putties, cements or plasters holes and cracks

Must have all the necessary tools and equipment

Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record

Must have a vehicle

Must have WSIB (Subcontractors)

Must have Liability insurance (Subcontractors)

Must have a Business license to operate in Toronto (Subcontractors)

Must have a Registered HST Number (Subcontractors)

Must have experience in the remodeling

Typical work involves: Drywall installation and taping, plaster removal, painting, skim-coating, popcorn ceiling removal, light carpentry.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
