As an Associate Security Analyst, you will support the Director, Information Security with monitoring, analyzing, and defending the security of the IT environment at Westland. You will work closely with operational staff to ensure the ongoing compliance with policies, procedures, and standards while also analyzing the security posture and requirements for projects and systems.

**Why we’ll love You**:

- You posses a solid understanding of current industry security standards and best practices
- You have strong technical knowledge of both Windows and Cloud environments backed by a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience working in an Information Security role
- You are highly organized You have no issues managing your time and prioritizing tasks according to importance
- You have solid communication skills and are able to liaise between internal and external audiences in a professional manner
- University degree or college diploma in Cyber Security or Computer Science
- One or more of the following certifications preferred: CISSP, RHCSA, MCSE Security, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), OSCP

**Once here, you'll**:

- Monitor the IT environment at Westland for suspicious activity with a focus on privileged accounts
- Coordinate vulnerability and policy compliance scanning activities while conducting continuous discovery and vulnerability assessment of enterprise-wide assets
- Document, prioritize, and formally report asset and vulnerability state, along with remediation recommendations and validation
- Ensure the continuance of a secure IT environment by participating with branches and business areas in the delivery of new products and services
- Develop and deliver security awareness training including phishing simulations
- Be a member of a high performing team and work closely with technical support staff and management
