**Position Summary**:
The IT Desktop Support will provide first line support to end users for daily hardware/software system issues. The incumbent shall receive and investigate software and hardware problems, resolving those of a routine nature and referring more complex problems to second level support.

**Responsibilities**:

- include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as first level support, logging all inquiries reported to the Help Desk with the goal of resolving them on first contact, or escalating to second level support as necessary.
- Provide problem details to second level support staff and assist as required in solving problems of complex scope.
- Responsible for the orientation of new employees in appropriate IT procedures and helping them get started with the applicable computerized systems.
- Install and provide routine maintenance on user’s computing devices.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and place service calls with the appropriate maintenance vendors when necessary.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours weekly, Monday - Friday

Duration: May 6, 2024 - December 31, 2024
