We are hiring a full-time, permanent **Clerk, Credit and Collections** position working out of Aylmer or Kincardine, ON.

What you’d be responsible for
- Providing input to the Manager, Customer Operations plans and directions, and ensure on-going appropriate relationships with other positions.
- Ensuring the delivery of optimal results against appropriate performance metrics.
- Meeting Customer expectations, functioning with operational effectiveness and ensuring efficient outcomes.
- Appropriate and timely outbound calling to all Customers per the OEB rules.
- Preparing and sending Customer letters for notification of disruption of service for non-payment.
- Preparing OEB and month end reporting.
- Negotiating and processing all Customer payment arrangements.
- Reviewing all Customer accounts monthly for outstanding balances and responds appropriately for all of the different account scenarios.
- Managing all account balances sent to the Collection Agency.
- Managing and tracking all Customers deemed low income and follows all social agency rules.
- Demonstrating a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented, easy to do business with manner of working.

What’s required to be successful
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalent or a two (2) year college Diploma is required.
- 2+ years of administration experience.
- Detailed knowledge of the UMS software reporting capabilities.
- Responds to change with an open attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.
- Acquires and uses technical, procedural, and professional information and skills to accomplish results within the context and prescribed limits set by the manager.
- Actively listens to and openly communicates with others.
