- The Plant Production Associate reports to the Plant Manager and designated management as required; and will work with our plant production team in an indoor setting. The Plant Production Associate supplements support to the Cultivation Specialist and/or Operations Manager. The Plant Production Associate exudes passion for plants and the cannabis industry and fosters nurturing and healthy relationships with people and plants and demonstrate comfortability working in a highly regulated production environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take direction from Cultivation Specialist to assist in all plant activities and maintenance including pruning, plant training, installation of plant supports (trellis ) and harvest.-
- Take direction from Cultivation Specialist to help manage all aspects of cannabis curing and trimming whilst also assisting in crop setup to ensure production, harvest and curing schedules are met, processes and resources are optimized;-
- Collaborate with Operations Manager and Cultivation Specialist to ensure all curing and trimming activities are completed on time for transfer and production.-
- Follow production, harvesting, packaging, and curing schedules and communicate all variances and/or deviations to the Cultivation Specialist.-
- Perform harvesting activities such as cutting down plants, hanging, de-fanning, and leaf removal, recording each activity.-
- Keep accurate documentation and records for all harvest activities and record in database (plant, processed, incentive and destruction weights).-
- Maintain storage areas and carry out general duties.-
- Mark and/or tag products with identifying information.-
- Maintain sanitation protocols and facility bio-security processes, including foot baths and other maintenance requirements; cross-functional work in sanitation department may be required from time to time.-
- Clean and sterilize all equipment and grow areas according to SOPs and Cannabis regulation requirements.-
- Assist with plant and production inventory counts as required.Other duties as assigned by management.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to stand/sit for prolonged periods of time; and-
- Capable of climbing ladders.WHAT YOU BRING:
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent;-
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict Standard Operating Procedures;-
- Ability to work in humid conditions;-
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills;-
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;-
- Manual dexterity and motor coordination; and-
- Good eye-hand coordination.You are a RELIABLE individual who consistently demonstrates a positive and professional attitude.
- You are an EFFICIENT WORKER both independently and in team environments.
- You are a DETAIL ORIENTATED, with proficiency in accurate documentation and record keeping.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of cultivation or gardening techniques is preferred;-
- Experience with safe operation and general maintenance standards of tools and equipment preferred; and-
