The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

**Supervisor, IT&OT**

The **Supervisor, IT & OT** leads and coordinates IT and OT deliverables for Côté Gold. They oversee IT and OT services to all Côté Gold sites. They report and communicate progress and participate in various IT/OT projects and business improvement initiatives. The Supervisor, IT&OT provides technical expertise, support, coaching and training to the IT and OT Technicians, and manages IT consultants and other related stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

Area 1:
Lead others in a collaborative environment to deliver innovative continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead a dynamic team focused on IT and OT strategy and execution.
- Create space for the team to be effective in delivering results.
- Foster an inclusive work environment.
- Provide clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required to achieve business plans and IT/OT targets.
- Ensure that training is provided in accordance with the current and future needs of Côté Gold.
- Ensure the required resources (people and equipment) are in place to achieve targets.
- Promote a high performance culture by setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Keep abreast of trends in IT and OT, specifically in mining, and impart to Côté Gold.
- Offer new approaches, methods or policies to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
- Continuously seek to improve the technical knowledge and skills of yourself and the team.
- Conduct research and benchmarking to support decision-making and improve IT and OT processes, technologies and methodologies.

Area 2:
Project and asset management.
- Responsible for IT asset allocation and asset management.
- Participate in IT purchasing process.
- Liaise with vendors to review technical solutions for the business.
- Lead and participate in various Business and Technical projects.
- Provide clear work objectives and expectations to contractors and IT staff supporting the business and the mine site.

Area 3:
Technical and operational support.
- Develop, monitor and continuously improve IT and OT policies, procedures and system.
- Develop and maintain OT-SOP on-site support.
- Provide and seek to continuously improve enterprise O365 and Desktop support.
- Work collaboratively to diagnose, repair and communicate network and server issues and mitigate outages.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Tickets and Monitoring alerts.
- Installs new and replacement hardware, accessories and complete repairs to end user hardware as required.
- Perform field acceptance testing of technical solutions.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software issues.
- Liaise and support infrastructure, mining and process technician as Tier 2 support for these systems.

Qualifications

**Minimum Requirements And Nice To Haves**

Minimum Qualifications, Formal Education, Certifications or Equivalents
- College diploma in an IT or OT related field.

AND
- Completion of a relevant specialized training program / certification; Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, Project Management Professional PMP is considered an asset.

Work Experience - Nature & Length
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience with 1 year of leadership experience.
- Experience in the mining industry or a related industry is considered an asset.

Additional Qualifications - Competency Requirements
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Works collaboratively and is comfortable dealing with all levels of management.
- Effective project management skills including attention to detail.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment to produce results quickly and efficiently.
- Well versed and able to support the Microsoft O365 product line.
- Familiarity with wiring, cabling, communication protocols, and connectivity hardware.
- Strives to improve own knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of Cisco networking, Fortinet firewall, Autonomous systems, Dell servers, LTE Communication is considered an asset.
