**SEASONAL SHIPPER/ RECEIVER**

**Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 8 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.**
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving for the business unit. The position requires the ability to work safety, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

The position will start in late March for approximately 12 weeks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Primary duties include loading outgoing shipments and unloading incoming shipments
- Ensure orders are correct and report all discrepancies
- Keep proper records and monitor inventory
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Communicate with other departments including sales and administration to advise of potential delays, issues and returns
- Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner
- Other duties as assigned including assisting to blend customer orders

**Qualifications**:

- Dedicated to ensuring a safe workplace
- Highly organized, good attention to details, solid math skills
- Experience working in shipping and receiving is an asset
- Valid driver's license, forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25kgs)
- Availability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends
