**General Manager**

Okanagan Grown Produce Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager in Vernon, BC. The role is for overseeing the business, is a hands on position that requires strong management skills

**Knowledge & Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years Business General Manager experience.
- Business degree or diploma in Management and Marketing.
- “Hands on” Management Style.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Commitment to exceeding customer service.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time managements skills with the ability to set priorities for self and others.

**Job Duties**
- Assumes overall responsibility for the company.
- Directs the focus of the Sales Division.
- Contributes to the development of the company’s vision and strategy.
- Provides vison and leadership to staff and Producers and encourage growth and financial viability of the company.
- Allocates and oversees human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, establish financial and administrative controls, approve overall human resources and planning.
- Hires and schedules staff.
- Supervises, and provides guidance, support, and direction to staff.
- Monitors the performance of staff on an on-going basis, conduct performance reviews, and terminate staff as required.
- Establishes prices and contracts.
- Prepares budgets and monitors expenses.
- Working with customers, troubleshooting issues and or concerns.
- Coordinates front office activities and resolves problems.
- Participates in meetings and maintains a positive public image for the company including representing the company at customer and trade business associations
- Other duties as assigned.
