**QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION**:
- Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) - required;
- Evidence of competency with respect to Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine and Histology as per CMLTO guidelines;
- Knowledge of Quality Control Programs and equipment maintenance - required
- Ensures the confidentiality of all patient information;
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment;
- Excellent technical and decision making skills
- Committed to the values of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, visitors and staff
- General good health and a level of functional ability appropriate to the demands of the position
- French language skills an asset
