Overview:
Join our team as a Sushi Maker and showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Sushi Maker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and visually appealing sushi dishes for our customers.
**Duties**:
- Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout food preparation processes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in meal preparation, particularly in sushi making
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and precision in food presentation
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 23 per week
