**ABOUT US**

Abacus Behaviour Consultant provides behavioural support services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Disabilities, and Mental Health concerns. Our primary goal is to increase the quality of life of the individuals we serve.

We are hiring **Behaviour Interventionists **as Independent Contractors to join our inclusive and supportive team

**BEHAVIOUR INTERVENTIONISTS** implement ABA based programs for young children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities in their home setting. BI’s work as part of a team with the Behaviour Consultant.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Enjoy playing with children.
- Reliable, patient and consistent
- Able to work independently.
- Able to take direction & feedback from Behaviour Consultant
- Able to work calmly with children with challenging behaviours
- Be physically able to “keep up” with children (running, squatting, kneeling, bending)
- Complete a Criminal Record Check
- At least 19 yrs old
- Willing to commit for 1 year
- Fluent in English

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 5 per week
