**Course Description**:Basic keyboard skills for jazz majors who play instruments other than piano. Credit for the course may be obtained by passing an examination.

**Class Schedule**: Section 1: Tuesdays 1-2pm, Section 2: Tuesdays 2-3pm

September 2023 - April 2024

**Salary**: $6,305.26 per section

**Qualifications**:Graduate degree in jazz piano or equivalent professional experience. Extensive knowledge of jazz repertoire and keyboard materials. Demonstrated excellence teaching jazz keyboard for non-keyboard majors at the university level.

**Duties**:Define course objectives; prepare course materials; provide clear guidelines on course requirements and regulations; teach classes as scheduled; administer and evaluate student assignments; prepare and submit final grade in accordance with policy. Maintain reasonable hours of student consultation outside scheduled class hours.
