This is a temporary position reporting to the Associate Registrar, running from January 2023 to March 29 2024.

The Manager, Registration, Records, & Scheduling is responsible for ensuring that the systems and processes that support the services provided by the Office of the Registrar result in optimal outcomes for our students and ensure the integrity of the credentials that we issue. This includes direct responsibility for Student Records (including Digital Credentials), Registration systems, Curriculum Database, Academic Scheduling, Student Fees, Convocation, and Transfer Credits. Provides direct assistance and advice to the College community on all systems and processes of the Registrar’s Office, and is an integral part of the RO leadership team. Provides project leadership on key process and system improvements.

**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Student Records, Registration, and Transfer Credits
- Cross-college annual processes, including Academic Scheduling and Convocation, as well as the annual set-up of the Curriculum and student fees
- Providing direction to support staff, determining work priorities/assignments and approval of staff scheduling
- Ensures the quality and integrity of the data within the Student Information System and acts as a Data Steward for student information
- Identifies and resolves problems that arise with the systems and processes supporting the delivery of registrar services
- Acts as the key resource for the College in the related Student Information System functions
- Compiles, analyzes and maintains statistical data/reports
- Monitoring, evaluating, developing and implementing new and redesigned business processes and practices in response/support of College and Department initiatives
- Ensures the appropriate and comprehensive communication of these policies, procedures and processes
- Develops innovative strategies for continuous renewal of registrar policies, systems and practices that advance the College’s strategic enrolment management initiatives
- Identifies, develops and implements innovative strategies for operational issues
- Manages technological changes
- Prepares office operations to undertake significant projects eg. changing/updating registration systems

**Qualifications**:

- 4 year degree in Business, IT, or equivalent
- Five years of progressive experience within a post-secondary environment, including direct experience within a Registrar’s Office
- Excellent technical skills, including experience and proficiency with Colleague or an equivalent Relational Database
- Experience mapping, designing and enhancing business and systems processes, with a track record of tangible improvements
- Understanding of data quality principles and practices, including quality assurance, data governance, and confidentiality
- Supervisory / Leadership experience
- Experience leading and engaging a team or project-oriented task force
- Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, communicating with technical and non-technical practitioners, and conflict resolution
- Excellent problem-solving skills, especially related to technical processes
- Project management proficiency
