**Description**:
Ø Responsible to ensure the entire shift runs smoothly and productively.
Ø Work with the Chef on menus, costs and ordering
Ø Positive attitude at work with internal and external clients
Ø Conforms to all responsibilities and kitchen standards set by the company.
Ø Assists to order food, beverage and supplies as directed
Ø Ensures that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained at all times.
Ø Manages controls to minimize food and supply waste.
Ø Safeguards all food preparation employees by increasing their knowledge about safety, sanitation and accident prevention.
Ø Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency.
Ø Exercises portion controls and as per the standards set.
Ø Evaluates food products to ensure standards are met.
Ø Plans and manages the Employee meal plan, as assigned.
Ø Maintains regular cleaning and maintenance for all kitchen areas.
Ø Follows Health and Safety Guidelines.
Ø Undertakes special projects.
**Job Requirements**
Ø **Must have Red Seal**
Ø Minimum 5 years experience in a, full service hotel.
Ø A true desire to satisfy the needs of our guest
Ø Good verbal communication skills.
Ø Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ø Willing to work flexible hours and shifts. (weekends, holidays)
Ø Ability to stand for long periods of time.
**Salary**: $20.29-$25.32 per hour
