We are MARZ, an AI-enabled VFX company on a mission to democratize VFX.

We make producing premium TV fast and easy, using a combination of proprietary AI software, TV-specific production operations, GPU clusters and world-class talent spanning diverse industries.

We launched in 2018, and have had the privilege of working on over 100 premium TV projects to date, such as Moon Knight (Marvel), The Umbrella Academy S3 (Netflix), WandaVision (Marvel), Ms. Marvel (Marvel), The Flight Attendant (HBO Max), Invasion (Apple TV+), Wednesday (Netflix), Carnival Row (Amazon Prime Video), Spiderman: No Way Home (Marvel), Being the Ricardo’s (Amazon Prime Video) and many more

**Who we need**

We are looking to add a talented
**Mid VFX Editor** to join our dynamic, growing, and passionate Editorial team, and we are open for this person to work remotely. This is a full-time role. The responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining sequence edits and inserting visual effects shots into the timeline;
- Categorization and ingestion of client media into pipeline, including but not limited to:

- Plates
- Count Sheets
- Camera Data
- Reference media
- Maintain Shotgrid with current shot counts, lineup and any retime instructions;
- Ensure that published shots conform to the current edit and perform QC checks;
- Assist with preparation of sequence edits for internal and client approvals when required;
- Packaging and QC’ing approved versions to clients or other facilities;
- Create in-house reels including annual company reels, show reels, technical breakdowns, and awards reels

**What you bring**

We are looking for an Mid VFX Editor with the following experience and skills:

- Minimum 2 years of editing experience within the film and television industry;
- An eye for detail and thorough understanding of techniques, file formats, colour-space, software and technology relating to the live action visual effects;
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills;
- Working knowledge of Shotgrid;
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer;
- Knowledge of Linux is considered an asset;
- Familiarity with file transfer programs such as Media Shuttle, Aspera, etc.;
- Basic knowledge of Nuke;
- Proven accuracy and organizational experience;
- Ability at working on time sensitive projects;
