**Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include.**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Mix paint and coatings to ensure proper consistency and color match.
- Repair damaged paint and composite surfaces as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition and ensure proper storage and disposal of painting materials.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production schedules and quality goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to aviation painting and composite finishing techniques.
- Proven experience as an aviation painter or composite finishing technician or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment used in aviation painting.
- Familiarity with composite materials and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.

**Nice to have**:

- Certification in aviation painting or composite finishing or equivalent.
- Experience working with specialized coatings and finishes used in the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with regulations and standards governing aircraft painting and finishing processes.
- First Aid Training

**Essential Qualities..**
- An understanding of safe workshop practices.
- A genuine interest in manufacturing/aviation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs and can stand for extended periods.
- Is comfortable working in an industrial factory environment with noise, dust, and chemicals.
- Will maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Available to work 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, (with a 3-day weekend) at our facility located at Victoria Airport.

**Salary**: $25.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
