As an Instructor, you will be an expert practitioner and key educator in support of both nursing staff and the multi-disciplinary clinical team. You will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence informed practice. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). **Additional Required Qualifications**:
Strong understanding of Seniors Health business operations, processes and policies in Home Care and/or Long Term Care. Minimum of 5 years of recent seniors’ health experience required. Current CRNA registration as and RN in good standing. Must have working knowledge of the interRAI instruments currently in use within Seniors Health; interRAI-CA, RAI-HC and or interRAI LTCF. Ability to present clinical data and educate adult learners. Excellent attendance record. The successful applicant will be creative, motivated and demonstrates initiative and a progressive record of leadership. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Must be able to work independently and within a virtual team. Must have working knowledge of Connect Care/ Meditech and Microsoft Office (MS Excel an asset); knowledge and experience of other software is an asset.
