Quinte Animal Hospital has been serving the community of Quinte West and Prince Edward County for over fifteen years. We are a busy hospital with a close-knit team that values quality medical services to cats and dogs.
Our team-oriented hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant. The ideal applicant would be someone with experience with animals, preferably a veterinary assisting course, who feels passionate about the comfort, care and treatment of pets.
Our Veterinary Assistants can be found working within examination rooms, assisting with anesthetic monitoring, performing client education, and putting the effort in to keep our hospital, stocked, clean and running smoothly. Our assistants are a vital part of the team, and we all work together to make this hospital the best it can be.
Applicants must be comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats, be willing to perform housekeeping duties in addition to providing patient care, client communication and have great attention to detail.
Our hospital uses Avimark software, IDEXX in house lab and urine machines and digital radiography.
