Collision Trainee

We are seeking a Collision Trainee to join our team. As a Collision Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in automotive repair and collision work. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on training and the potential for career growth within our dealership.

The Collision Trainee will be responsible for working with the Collision team in scheduling repairs, collecting payments and will have the opportunity to learn how to write preliminary estimates.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, friendly, good with computers, thrives organizing, is a great communicator and likes to be busy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist experienced appraisers in estimating automotive repairs and collision work
- Schedule in repairs and order parts accordingly
- Schedule appointments for appraisals
- Update insurance companies and customers on repair status
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

**Experience**:

- A passion for automotive repair and a desire to learn and grow in the industry
- Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Repair Center, Mitchell Connect an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks

Hours: 8:30-5:30 Monday - Friday

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
